Proud History - Standing the Test of Time

In 1949, Earl Saxby opened Saxby Implement as the original owner of the company along side with his foster son; Marv Hogan, who has been involved with the business since its beginning.

Earl and Marv served the large local farming industry in the 1950’s by providing them with farming equipment and machinery from International Harvester and other brands. Even in those days, Saxby’s was known as the place to go for all your equipment and service needs.

In 1961, Saxby Implement added the Cub Cadet brand of lawn tractors to their offering. They were one of the first dealers in North America.

In 1975, Earl retired and sold his business to Marv “Hoagie” Hogan and his wife JoAnn. Since that time the Hogan family has managed the business adding Marv’s son Randy, his wife Elaine, and eventually their son-in-law Jason.

In 1978, they became one of the areas original Kubota dealers for mowers and light tractors.

Over the next two decades, Saxby Implement added commercial mowers from Ferris Industries, power equipment from ECHO, and implements and accessories from Land Pride.
